An 8 to 12 week, one-on-one coaching program for recent grads and current college students who feel stuck, behind, or unsure what's next, and for the families who want to support them without taking over.
Too many options, or none that feel like yours. Plenty of advice, and none of it helping. And if you're the parent, every conversation about the future ends in tension or silence. Listen, you're not behind. You probably haven't been asked the right questions yet.
Where am I? An honest look at where you are right now, and what “feeling lost” feels like, looks like and sounds like for you.
What matters to me? Your values and strengths, and which expectations are yours and which you borrowed from others.
What could I try? Many possible paths, explored with curiosity and without pressure.
Small experiments. Low-risk ways to test a path: a conversation, a shadow day, a short course.
Obstacles and self-talk. Identifying the limiting beliefs and mental blocks that keep you stuck, understanding where they come from, and changing the narrative into one that moves you forward.
My Next Chapter Map. A one-page map of your direction, progress, next steps, and the support you'll want beside you.
You've asked. You've suggested. You've sent job postings. It's hard to watch someone you love feel stuck, and even harder when your support starts to feel like pressure. Next Chapter gives your grad a neutral space with someone who isn't family, so they can find their own direction and you can go back to being their parent, not their career coach.
For over 10 years I've been an educator and district leader. Year after year, I watched bright young people follow paths someone else had chosen for them. Yet, many had never been asked what they wanted.
Now, as a full time certified coach, I want to show you that you already hold your own answers. My role as your coach isn't to tell you what to do. Instead, I ask the questions, create the space, and walk alongside you as you pause, reflect and design your next chapter. I'm also a yoga teacher trained in trauma-sensitive yoga, and I often like to incorporate some choice-based movement to our work together, so you get to connect and notice what your body is telling you, not just what your mind is arguing about.
